Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (Focus Area)

This focus area may include the creation of a DEI statement which will appear among your elements on the compass. It is also a way for organizations to emphasize the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of the organization. 

Sample Three-Year Vision:

• We will have a documented, well-implemented, and tracked diversity, equity, and inclusion policy.

Sample One-Year Goals:

• DEI STATEMENT: Create a diversity, equity, and inclusion statement. 
• DEI ASSESSMENT: Develop and implement an annual DEI assessment for our staff/board. 
• DEI TRAINING: Implement a comprehensive DEI training program for the staff and board.
