Capital Campaign

A capital campaign could be included in financial management or fund development focus areas, but it is a large enough goal for a nonprofit that some organizations choose to have it be a standalone focus. Your vision should include the dollar amount goal.

Sample Three-Year Vision:

• We will have conducted a successful capital campaign that raised $3,200,000.

Sample One-Year Goals:

• CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE: Create and implement an effective capital campaign committee.
• CONSULTANT: Hire an experienced capital campaign consultant.
• CAMPAIGN PLAN: Establish a comprehensive capital campaign plan.
