When working on a focus area for programs, review your current offerings and determine the ideal number of programs and people served. 

Sample Three-Year Vision:

We will have:

• Identified metrics for both the overall organization and our key programs. 
• Created and adopted a process for tracking and reporting progress on metrics.

Sample One-Year Goals:

• METRICS TRAINING: Create and implement a staff training program on how to establish, track, and report on metrics. 
• LOGIC MODEL: Establish a basic logic model for each of our key programs. 
• KEY METRICS: Establish a draft set of three-to-four key metrics that demonstrate our organization’s overall effectiveness.
