Populate the Compass
1. Populate the Compass
This video will show you how to add, edit and manage the elements in your strategic plan to populate your Compass.
2. Open the Compass
We will start here in Strategy. Navigate to Section 1: Compass.

3. Add a New Element
Hover to the upper-right corner of the Compass section and select Add Element.

4. Enter Element Details
A new window will appear. Collaborate with your team to populate your plan's elements, including Name and Content.

5. Optional Context and Guidance
Click suggestions to view the drop-down menu. This contains a list of the most common elements used on strategic plans.

Additional context and information are also available when you click Learn More, which will appear in the right-hand panel of the page.

6. Save Your Changes
Once completed, select Save to update the plan.

7. Edit an Existing Element
To make changes to an existing element, click Edit Element.

8. Clone or Delete Elements
You can duplicate or remove elements directly from the main Strategy page using the Clone Element or Delete Element option

9. Rearrange Elements
You can also rearrange the order of the elements using the up-down arrow button.

10. You're all set.
You have populated your Compass in Causey. You can return to your strategy anytime to make changes, or visit help dot causey dot app for more resources.
