Populate Your Focus Areas

Introduction
In this guide, we'll cover two key topics: creating a Focus Area and managing existing Focus Areas.
2. Strategy - Section 2: Actions
To create a Focus Area, navigate to the Strategy page and scroll down to Section 2: Actions.

3. Create a New Focus Area
Click Add Focus Area in the upper-right corner of Section 2.

4. Name Your Focus Area
Enter a name that reflects one of your organization's key areas of focus.

5. Explore Suggestions
Open the Suggestion dropdown menu to explore recommended Focus Area names and planning content.

6. Focus Area Content
Enter your long-term Vision statement in the text box in the Focus Area Content section. Tick the box beside the "Display expanded vision on load" if you want to show the full vision by default in the Strategy page.

7. Focus Area Team Champions
Assign Champions in the Focus Area Team section. By default, you can select up to two champions per focus area. You can increase this limit in your organization settings.

8. Focus Area Team Members
Add team members to each focus area as needed. There is no limit to the number of team members you can assign.

9. Managing Existing Focus Areas
Next, we'll review the tools available to manage existing Focus Areas, including editing, cloning, deleting, and reordering Focus Areas.

10. Edit your Focus Area
To edit an existing Focus Area, locate the Focus Area you want to manage, then click Edit Focus Area in the upper-right corner.

11. Clone your Focus Area
To create a copy of an existing Focus Area, click the three dots menu to the right of Edit Focus Area, then select Clone Focus Area.

12. Delete your Focus Area
To permanently remove a Focus Area, click the three dots menu to the right of Edit Focus Area, then select Delete Focus Area

13. Re-order Focus Areas
Use the up and down arrows to change the order of your Focus Areas in Section 2.

14. Show Vision
Use the vision toggle to show a Focus Area's long-term vision statement.

15. Hide Vision
Use the vision toggle to hide a Focus Area's long-term vision statement.

16. Add Notes, Attachments, and Links
Open the three dots menu to add notes, attachments, and external links to a Focus Area.

17. Filter Focus Areas
You can also click Show or Hide Filter to Turn on the Focus Mode. This will filter the Actions by People, Tags, Goal Progress Update Status, Goal Progress Update Percentage, Time Since Last Goal Progress Update, and Goal Timeframe
